Art Films Production AFP Ltd develops and produces creative, quality films. The company’s main focus is on fiction films and documentaries, but animation projects have also been developed and realised over the years. Art Films began its operations in 1987.

During the years, Art Films has realised numerous international projects and documentaries being sold to over 20 countries. Arto Halonen has gathered numerous international awards from film festivals around the world, in addition to the Humanitarian Award of the European Union in 1998 and the Finland Prize of 2005. In 2008, Thessaloniki Documentary Festival recognized Halonen as one of the most important European documentary filmmakers today.
